1. General Terms

These rental terms ("Terms") govern the relationship between [COMPANY NAME], registration number [REGISTRATION NUMBER] ("Lessor"), and the customer booking a moving box kit ("Renter"). By making a booking, the Renter confirms they have read and agree to these Terms.

2. Start and End of the Rental Period

The rental period begins at the moment the boxes are delivered and ends at the moment they are picked up. The standard rental period is 14 days, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation. The rental period can be extended by contacting the Lessor before the rental period ends.

3. Ownership

The boxes, dolly, and other rental equipment remain the property of the Lessor for the entire rental period. The Renter is granted the right to use the equipment only within the rental period and in accordance with these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

The boxes are intended for transporting household items, clothing, books, kitchenware, and similar items. It is prohibited to transport the following in the boxes:

  • flammable or hazardous substances;
  • large quantities of liquids;
  • perishable food products;
  • items exceeding the recommended maximum weight per box.

5. Renter's Responsibility

The Renter is responsible for the proper use and care of the boxes and dolly during the rental period. The Renter must ensure the boxes are protected from weather conditions if placed outdoors.

6. Damages

A damage fee [DAMAGE FEE: to be specified] may apply for boxes or dollies damaged as a result of improper use. Natural wear and tear from normal use is not considered damage.

7. Loss

A fee [LOSS FEE: to be specified] applies for a lost box or dolly set, corresponding to the cost of replacing the equipment.

8. Cleanliness Requirements

Boxes must be returned empty. The Lessor cleans the boxes after each rental - the Renter does not need to clean the boxes before returning them, but they must be free of organic waste or other contaminating materials.

9. Delay

If the Renter does not return the boxes on the agreed pickup date, an additional fee [DELAY FEE: to be specified] may apply per day of delay, or the rental may be automatically extended at the Lessor's discretion.

10. Extension

The rental period can be extended by 7 or 14 days by contacting the Lessor before the original rental period ends. Extension prices are listed on the pricing page.

11. Delivery Procedure

Delivery takes place at the address provided by the Renter within Riga city limits, within an agreed time window. Delivery outside Riga city limits is arranged individually. The Renter must ensure access to the delivery address at the agreed time.

12. Pickup Procedure

Pickup takes place upon the Renter's request or automatically at the end of the rental period, unless otherwise agreed. The boxes must be empty and accessible for pickup at the agreed time and location.

13. Inaccessible Address

If delivery or pickup cannot take place due to the Renter's fault (for example, the address is not accessible at the agreed time), the Lessor has the right to apply additional costs for a repeat delivery or pickup attempt.

14. Cancellation

A booking can be canceled by contacting the Lessor through the booking form on the site. Cancellation conditions and any applicable cancellation fee [CANCELLATION TERMS: to be specified] will be specified in the booking confirmation.

15. Date Changes

Changes to the delivery or pickup date must be coordinated with the Lessor as soon as possible, by contacting us through the form on the site.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations if this results from extraordinary circumstances that the party could not have foreseen or prevented (force majeure).

17. Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising in connection with these Terms are resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

18. Data Processing

The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy.

19. Deposit
